I sat on a rock near a tranquil forest road, reading a book in a cup of coffee, looking to the other side of the hill.
Countless white flowers bloomed, coloring the garden in front of the house green and white.

Ukmerge miniature park.

The clever thing here aren't the handful of 3D printed miniature buildings, but the park layout itself. Its a miniature map of the country.

Laid out in grass and trees, walkways modelling the actual highways and major rivers flowing with water. Region borders are laid down in red paving stones. A large fence with no gates is on the Belarus side and a smaller fence where the Latvian border is.

There is an area of water modelling the Curonian spit but the Baltic sea past Klaipeda is made of grass.

The main entrance is by the Suwalki gap and Kaliningrad is a blank spot of grass, freshly mowed

It did not rain overnight and we have small chance later today. Mid-seventies, sunny (for now) and breezy, why the pool is so empty is a mystery to me.
(I got my rainbow towel saving the lounger I want but its currently in shade.)
Edit - will add pics later. The campground WiFi is strugglin.

I have this brand (great coverage) in lavender, violet, and indigo, so got the dark pink.
This is ONE COAT! What a difference.
I will likely do another coat, not for coverage but for durability.

A throwback to 2014 and this incredible solar-powered floating home. Inside, its stocked with food, lovely wine, and simple comforts bed-chairs. Lifestyles like this feel totally unbelievable to many.
As I always feel that traveling and observing enrich our perspective.
